With the support of voters, Jeffco Public Schools has been able to implement an aggressive program to create schools that meet the needs of 21st Century Learners. Agencies or individuals desiring to conduct "external research" studies involving either district students or staff members must complete an application form and submit a written prospectus to the Jefferson County Schools Research Committee for approval prior to initiation of the study.

Businesses are stepping up to help Jeffco Public Schools. Some have adopted an entire school or classroom, and others have provided generous financial support. The district salutes our business partners, especially our Founding Partner, FirstBank of Colorado, which has a long-term agreement to support Jeffco Public Schools. FirstBank has been serving the Jefferson county community since its founding in Lakewood, Colorado, in 1963 and now has 115 locations. The bank and its employees give generously both in time and financial resources to ensure that Jeffco students are successful. Look for a symbol of their support, the FirstBank logo and signage, on our school buses and in our athletic facilities.
