2011-2012 District Calendars
The district's school year calendar is developed by the Calendar Committee which is made up of parents, students, teachers, staff and community members. In 2007, the Committee completed work on calendars for the next three school years beginning in 2008-09. The committee received input from community, staff and students through a school survey and through e-mail comments. Each school year calendar has a set number of teacher work days and teacher/student contact days in accordance with state law (CRS 22-32-109 (n)) and district policy. Based on these parameters, as well as the time needed for CSAP testing, the Committee created the school year calendars through the 2010-2012 school years,which were approved by the Jefferson County Board of Education.
