The school district is divided into 17 articulation areas each comprising one or two high schools and the feeder elementary and middle schools. Each articulation area is managed by one of four community superintendents. The community superintendent of each articulation area:
- monitors and evaluates school effectiveness
- monitors student achievement and implementation of a consistent curriculum across all grade levels
- coordinates student services
- evaluates principals
- monitors school safety and student behavior
- responds to parental concerns that cannot be resolved at the school level. Contact a community superintendent.
