The mission of the Department of Planning and Construction is to provide quality educational environments for all Jeffco students and staff. Working with Construction Management, Facilities Planning is responsible for the District's master planning and site/facility capital improvement planning, including management and maintenance of permanent facility records. We update and maintain the District's standards for the educational specifications and technical guidelines that we use to design our schools. We coordinate with property management to develop enrollment projects for all schools. We prioritize facility improvements and maintain a data base for drawings and specifications for all of our projects.
