| The I2(a) initiative is a Budgeting for Results funded proposal that will provide schools with tools and supports to increase student achievement in the areas of reading and math. The I2(a) initiative has been created to help educators effectively implement core curriculum, plan instruction, and provide interventions using ongoing assessment information from Acuity and several other sources of data. The assessment data used with I2(a) schools is not intended to be used for accountability purposes but to assist teachers with instructional decision-making. The I2(a) initiative is a three-year implementation and support will be given to identified schools from the Division of Instruction, based on school and articulation area needs. |
