| Literacy (Family Literacy) |
Family Literacy in Jefferson County is designed to increase whole-family success in education and promote the community connectedness of families. It attempts to break the cycle of low literacy and under-education while beginning a cycle of education, stability, and independence. Program goals are to:
- Raise the literacy level of the parent
- Provide age appropriate learning activities for children to aid in their preparation for school
- Empower parents and their children
