Benefits

Eligibility

New employees are eligible for benefits the first of the month following one month from their date of hire, with receipt of the appropriate paper-work by the Benefits Department.

Your Costs for Benefits

The district contributes a monthly amount toward the cost of elected medical, dental, vision and mandatory Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance and Longterm Disability Insurance. This benefit allocation varies depending upon employee group classification and work schedule.  With proof of other medical coverage, employees may opt out of the medical insurance and receive a reduced contribution from the district.
