Benefits

Eligibility

New employees are eligible for benefits the first of the month following one month from their date of hire.

Your Costs for Benefits

For employees who meet the eligibility criteria, the district provides a monthy "benefit allocation" that can be used toward defraying the cost of medical, dental, vision, optional life insurance, and flexible spending account contributions. The amount of the benefit allocation varies depending upon employee group classification and work schedule.  With proof of other medical coverage, employees may opt out of the medical insurance and receive a reduced contribution from the district.
