Step twoMake sure you have ALL required documents to complete the application process. Applicants will need to create an online “Profile” before applying for specific jobs.  

For licensed position you will need to submit a cover letter/letter of interest, resume, and philosophy statement. Please read the job description carefully as schools may ask for additional supplemental information in addition to the above which may be used as a part of the screening process. Please make sure your resume contains the following:


  • Highly Qualified status including Colorado Licensure information and all Endorsements
  • Completed assessments like the Place or Praxis II

Substitute Teaching Positions

Each school day, Jeffco Public Schools uses approximately 400 substitute teachers. Qualified applicants are invited to join our pool of teachers who are ready to step into our classrooms on short notice. Read more.
