Substitute Teaching

Jeffco Public Schools hires approximately 400 substitute teachers a day. To be a substitute teacher you must meet the following requirements:

Have Colorado Teaching Certificate, 5 or 3 year Substitute Teacher's Authorization, or 1 year Substitute Teacher Authorization (with district approval)
Review the Substitute Licensure and Pay Rate
Complete the on-Line application, attach a philosophy statement and resume that details experience working with children.

Applications will be reviewed and an invitation to an orientation will be made via phone call.
