Throughout the school year Jeffco schools hold meetings for parents and students to introduce them to their instructional program and explain enrollment procedures. Below is a list of schools that have submitted their meeting information. Check with other schools directly, for possible interest meetings or school tours.

Alameda High School is the only high school in Jefferson County that offers the both the authorized IB Middle Years Programme for all 9th and 10th graders and the IB Diploma Programme for interested 11th and 12th graders. 
We also provide award-winning Visual and Performing Arts programs (Instrumental and Drama).  Our Marine Biology Program is unique in Jefferson County.

Lakewood High School will host two IB Prep Information Nights for current eighth graders on Monday, Oct. 24 and Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, from 6 – 8 p.m. in the LHS auditorium.  The evening presentations will overview the LHS IB Prep Program as well as provide application materials and deadlines.  Find out how you can be part of one of the largest and most highly successful IB Programs in the state. (Successful candidates must be currently enrolled in Algebra I or higher.)

LHS will also be hosting an Eighth Grade Open House/Choice Enrollment Night on Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 6 – 8 p.m.  Join us to tour our state-of-the-art building and learn about the large variety of programs LHS offers to meet the needs and interests of our students.  Departments, clubs, sports, activities, special programs, Honors, and Pre-IB will all have booths with information to share.

WarrenTech, Jeffco’s premier career/technical high school, is hosting an Open House on Thursday, Jan. 26. The North Campus hours are 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Central Campus hours are 5:30 p.m. to 8.p.m. Information sessions will be held at both campuses approximately every 30 minutes. There are different programs available at each campus, so please visit the WarrenTech website to find the campus location of your programs of interest.

WarrenTech can become an exciting part of every student’s plan for high school graduation with its focused learning in doing what students love while furthering their career and getting a head-start on college. Teachers and current students will be available for questions and information. Students 16-years-old, and entering their junior or senior year of high school are eligible to apply, but it is never too early for younger students to start planning their future at WarrenTech. Kindergarten Registration at Wilmore-Davis Elementary for the 2012-2013 school year will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 17.  Children must be five or six years of age on or before Oct. 1 of next school year to be eligible.  Stop into our main office anytime from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.to register your child. You will need to bring the following items: birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residency. 

Kindergarten Information Nights will be held Thursday, Jan. 12, 6:30-7:30 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 23, 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the south kindergarten classroom. We will be talking about the expectations for beginning kindergarten & end of kindergarten.; Bring your questions to the conversation.
