The Jeffco Department of Health Services maintains the goal of a holistic approach while providing health support to all regular and special education students in Jefferson County Public Schools.
The Hearing and Vision Team conducts hearing and Vision Screening for Jeffco students in kindergarten, first, second, third, fifth, seventh, and ninth grades. Hearing/Vision screenings are conducted each spring at all of the Jefferson County Preschools. Read more.

The Homebound Instruction Program (HIP) is designed to serve students who are unable to attend school for an extended time because of a physical and/or emotional health concern.
