Jeffco Preschool Registration for Fall 2007 Begins Today
Jeffco preschool registration for fall 2007 begins today, January 16.  Jeffco Public Schools offer a tuition-based preschool program for all children aged 3 or 4 at thirty different sites throughout the district. Children may attend preschool when they turn three on or before Oct. 1 of the year they enter preschool.

Preschool is offered 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week.  The non-refundable registration fee remains at $50 per student or $75 per family.  Starting this fall, the full-day monthly tuition rate will increase 10 percent from $565 to $621.  The full Tuition Schedule with revised rates for 2007-08 is available on the Jeffco Web site at http://jeffcoweb.jeffco.k12.co.us/communications/preschool.html. 
 
All programs are licensed by the Colorado Department of Human Services and meet the Colorado Department of Education Quality Standards for Early Childhood Care and Education Services.

To register for preschool, parents should bring a birth certificate and proof of immunizations and address. Students must be immunized in accordance with the Colorado Immunization Law, which requires DTP/Td, polio, measles, rubella, mumps, chickenpox and Hepatitis B vaccinations.
