Classes Canceled Until April 2 at Bear Creek High School Classes will be canceled at Bear Creek High School until Monday, April 2 for all students and staff because of ongoing cleanup work from a fire in the building late Saturday night. The fire happened around 11 p.m. Saturday, March 17 in an art room, but was contained to one wing of the building. Two other classrooms were affected by the fire. No damage estimates have been released yet. Jeffco Public Schools’ students are on Spring Break from March 26-30. Students will now be required to attend classes on Monday, April 2, and Friday, April 27, to make up for the classroom days lost due to the fire.
