Threats Affect Two Jeffco Schools
Wheat Ridge High School was placed on lockdown at approximately 10 a.m. today and Wheat Ridge Police called to the school as a precautionary measure after a possible threat was made against a small group of students. The threat was contained in a note found in the school.

Wheat Ridge police are investigating. School was dismissed today at 2:30 p.m. and all after school activities were cancelled. A normal class schedule will resume tomorrow.

Also, Pleasant View Elementary School in Golden was evacuated twice today due to telephone threats.  After the second threat,  school was cancelled for the day and parents were notified and asked to pick up their students at Pleasant View Fire Department, 955 Moss St. in Golden.
