October 15, 2007 District breaks ground for Dakota Ridge High School additionJeffco Public Schools will host a groundbreaking ceremony at 5 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 23, for Dakota Ridge High School’s new addition. The groundbreaking, open to the public, will take place at 13399 W. Coal Mine Ave. in Littleton. The $8 million Dakota Ridge High School addition will increase the student capacity of the facility from 1,250 students to 1,750 students. The addition includes an auxiliary gym and fitness area, increased cafeteria seating, classroom and special education space expansion as well as additional parking. The project is being funded from bonds approved by voters in 2004. ###
