EVERYONE’S JOINING IN TO READ ACROSS JEFFCO  

It’s that time of the year to make it clear; picking up a book is cool, especially in school.  As Dr. Seuss celebrates his 104th birthday, students and parents alike, will celebrate too, not by picking up a book, but picking up one or maybe even two. 

The month of March is a celebration of Read Across America, the National Education Association’s annual reading event that calls children, both young and old, to reward their learning by celebrating the joys of reading.  

Readers in many Jeffco Schools will celebrate on Monday, March 3, and others will host reading events to celebrate through the entire month.
