Students will be assigned new schedules and will attend either a morning or afternoon session.  The sessions will run from 7:15 – 11:13 a.m. and from 11:23 a.m.. – 3:21 p.m.  Students whose last names begin with A to L will attend the morning sessions; M-Z last names will attend the afternoon sessions.  All the students who take part in instrumental music will attend in the morning, vocal music students will attend the afternoon session.  In order to make the special schedule work, the school won’t be able to make changes to students’ schedules.  Bus transportation will be provided for both the morning and afternoon sessions.  Because of the split schedule, lunch will not be served at the school; however breakfast will be available beginning at 7 a.m.

Students will be allowed to pick up the belongings they left in the school at the time of the fire on Monday, April 28, from 9 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. Students will also be able to pick up their schedules and bus information then.

The staff at Bear Creek will report to the school on Monday, April 28.

All activities and athletics scheduled outside of the school building will be held as planned.

Two 15- year old Bear Creek High School students have been arrested in connection with the fire.

The fire began in the gym before noon on Tuesday, April, 22.  All students and staff were evacuated safely.  Smoke damage is extensive throughout most of the school.  Preliminary estimates put the damage at more than $2 million.
