Superintendent's Success Honored by Local Group

It’s an honor that goes to a woman who exemplifies success and involvement in the community and this year that woman is Jeffco Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Cindy Stevenson. 

The Arvada-Northwest Business and Professional Women (ANBPW) group named Stevenson as their Woman of the Year. 

Candidates were judged on contributions they have made to an organization, their community and how they have helped other women succeed.  The ANBPW’s mission concentrates on promoting equality for women in the workplace through advocacy, information and education. 

Stevenson will be honored at the 20th Annual Woman of the Year Banquet on Saturday, Feb. 28.
