Jeffco Preschool Registration for Fall 2010 Begins in January
Jeffco preschool registration for fall 2010 will be held beginning Tuesday, Jan. 19. Jeffco Public Schools offer a tuition-based preschool program for all children aged 3 or 4 at thirty-five different sites throughout the district. Children may attend preschool when they turn three on or before Oct. 1 of the year they enter preschool.

Preschool is offered 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week depending on the location.  The registration fee is $60 per student or $85 per family.  The full tuition schedule with revised rates for 2010-2011 is available on the Jeffco Web site at www.jeffcopublicschools.org/schools/profiles/preschool/.
 
All programs are licensed by the Colorado Department of Human Services and meet the Colorado Department of Education Quality Standards for Early Childhood Care and Education Services. Jeffco preschools offer a dynamic, research-based curriculum that help prepare students for kindergarten.

To register for preschool, parents should bring a birth certificate and proof of immunizations and address. Students must be immunized in accordance with the Colorado Immunization Law, which requires DTP/Td, polio, measles, rubella, mumps, chickenpox and Hepatitis B vaccinations.
