Shooting at Deer Creek Middle School Injures Two

According to the Jeffco Sheriff’s Office, two students were injured today at Deer Creek Middle School in Littleton after an adult male fired a weapon outside the school. The students were transported to the hospital. Students were evacuated to the nearby Stony Creek Elementary School where they were reunited with parents. Both Deer Creek Middle School and Stony Creek Elementary School will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 24.  Counselors will be available tomorrow at Stony Creek, 7203 Everett St. Littleton to work with any students who need assistance.
