Jeffco 2010-11 CSAP points of pride:
The state also measures district and student growth through the Colorado Growth Model. It provides a common understanding of how individual students and groups of students progress from year-to-year toward meeting or exceeding state standards. For the 2010-11 CSAP growth results, the overall district’s median growth percentiles exceeded the state’s typical growth performance in reading and math, while meeting it in writing. “We are thrilled with the remarkable results which show our teachers and leaders are making a difference for student achievement. Everyone in the organization has worked tirelessly to put the emphasis on the classroom where teaching and learning are the highest priorities,” said Jeffco Superintendent Dr. Cindy Stevenson. |
