Part-time online classes are designed for students who need flexibility to study outside of the traditional classroom. Enrollment in one to three courses during the fall and spring semester is considered part time. Often, part-time students take some classes with the Virtual Academy and the remainder at their regular Jeffco or private school, or at-home classes.
Part-time enrollment in Jeffco's 21st Century Virtual Academy is available to students in 7th - 12th grade. Students must be a resident of Colorado and younger than 21 years of age. Because we are part of the Jeffco Public School District, the Virtual Academy is able to offer tuition-free enrollment to high school and middle school-aged Colorado residents.

Fees may be charged for AP level course materials. However, students may qualify for financial assistance for computers, and Internet access. Find out more about financial assistance.

Completing and submitting this online application does not constitute enrollment in Jeffco's 21st Century Virtual Academy. The Virtual Academy is unable to determine the student's eligibility for enrollment until all documentation is received.
After submitting the online application, the student will need to submit forms and documentation that are necessary for enrollment. See the documentation checklist.
Because every student is unique, the Virtual Academy will work closely with you to answer questions about our program and to facilitate enrollment. A staff member will contact you after completion of the online form, and submission of all documentation.
