Supplemental Classes Enrollment
Jeffco's 21st Century Virtual Academy offers supplemental high school classes for students of all ages. Supplemental Classes are designed to meet graduation requirements, or help high school students prepare for higher-level courses. They are ideal for the busy adult learner who is working towards a high school diploma, or a student already enrolled in high school who wants to accelerate their studies.
Credit Recovery
Credit Recovery classes are designed for students who were not successful in class the first time around. Students receive credit based on mastery of class subjects. Students participate in an initial assessment to determine their understanding of a subject. Based on the assessment, the teacher will assign only the parts of the course that the student still needs to complete. Credit recovery classes begin five times throughout the year.

Credit Advancement
For students of any age that are interested in accelerating their learning, Jeffco’s 21st Century Virtual Academy offers Credit Advancement courses. These courses are ideal for students who want to graduate ahead of schedule, or for students who need a class as a pre-requisite for advanced classes. Advanced elementary and middle school students that are looking for more challenging classes can enroll in this program. Credit Advancement courses are available during the fall and spring semester, as well as a summer intensive program.
Cost
The fee for students enrolled in a neighborhood (non-charter) Jeffco School is $150 per 0.5 credits. The fee for all other students is $200 per 0.5 credits, plus a one time $25 enrollment processing fee.
Enrollment includes full payment of the course fee(s) by the day before the start date. Payment can be accepted in the following forms:

PaySchools:
Fees may also be paid through PaySchools using Visa, MasterCard, Discover and EFT (e-check). Fees for multiple students can be paid in a single transaction. To pay fees online you will need your student’s ID and student’s last name. There is a $2.00 fee.
Students taking credit recovery courses are required to pay for their course(s) in full the day before the session start dates in order to participate in the credit recovery program.

Supplemental enrollment for the March 2010 term is now open. Deadline to submit application and documents is February 21, 2010.Completing and submitting this online application does not consititute enrollment in Jeffco's 21st Century Virtual Academy. The Virtual Academy is unable to determine the student's eligibility for enrollment until all documentation is received.

Because every student is unique, the Virtual Academy will work closely with you to answer questions about our program and to facilitate enrollment. A staff member will contact you after completion of the online form, and submission of all documentation.
