Each year, high school students from countries around the globe come for a semester or a full year of study in Jefferson County Schools.
Jeffco Public Schools does not offer its own Study Abroad program for high school students, but Study Abroad opportunities do exist. Interested High School students should contact one of Jeffco's approved Exchange Agencies. Read More.

Agencies and host parents should not contact any school until the Coordinator has signed and returned a Permission to Enroll form to the agency. Violation of this policy can result in suspension from Jeffco's approved Agency list.
- In order to place students in Jeffco, all agencies must apply annually, and be accepted for inclusion on the district's list of approved agencies for the following academic school year.
- The agency approval deadline for 2012-13 is December 2nd, 2011. The annual informational meeting for applying agencies will be held Friday, December 2nd, 2011.
