| Of our graduates each year, 90 percent continue their education at the post secondary level. Over 80 percent of our students participate in interscholastic athletics. Evergreen High School is truly one of Evergreen High School is located in the Rocky Mountains, 28 miles outside of Denver. The school is part of the Jeffco Public School District, the largest district in Colorado. The parents, community and teaching staff are deeply dedicated to high standards of educational performance for all students. The tradition of these high standards for academic excellence is evidenced by the recognition and award as a 2007 National Blue Ribbon School, one of only two high schools in Colorado to receive this award in 2007. For the past eight years, Evergreen High School has also received the Colorado Department of Education John Irwin School of Excellence Award, recognizing Evergreen as a school in the top 8 percent of schools in Colorado.
