All 626 of Dennison students are selected through a lottery system and represent the entire Jefferson County Area. This rigorous academic program teaches the Colorado Content Standards in self-contained classrooms through a systemic and systematic whole group, teacher directed instructional model. Textbooks, such as the Open Court Reading Program and Scott-Foresman Addison Wesley Math are the primary resource for the curriculum. A welcoming environment for students and parents is fostered through Positive Behavior Support. Parent Involvement is a key component of the program and a myriad of volunteer opportunities are available.
