Montessori Peaks Academy's educational philosophy is based on a deep respect for the individual child. Children learn to think for themselves, collaborate with others, and become actively involved in their own education. A Montessori classroom environment is specially designed for multi-aged groups. Children have access to a variety of materials and lessons appropriate for their age, interest and ability. Central to the environment is the trained teacher, who assists the child in the unfolding of his/her individual personality. Montessori Peaks Academy offers programs for children from preschool (age 3) through sixth grade. Half-day kindergarten and 1st through 6th grades are tuition free. Full-day kindergarten and the preschool programs require payment of tuition.
