| The New America School provides new immigrants and English Language Learners with the educational tools and support they need to maximize their potential, succeed and live the American dream. To better meet the needs of at risk learners, teachers employ a mix of instructional techniques. Among others these include sheltered instruction, differentiation, experiential education, integrated technology, and interdisciplinary connections. Perhaps most important, all school functions are offered with the underlying assumption that practice and preparation help to build confidence and courage. |
