Additional Information
The Core Knowledge curriculum is a challenging program that engages and motivates students. Integral to this program is the notion that students in the younger years are capable of handling a rigorous and demanding curriculum. There is no greater influence on the effectiveness of teaching than the number of students per class. RMAE caps individual room enrollment at twenty-two per class grades Kindergarten through second, and twenty-four students in grades three through eight. It is clear that as kids grow, those that mature through the nurturing environment found in K-8 schools have an increased potential for doing their best.
