  • Elk Creek has been a Colorado Power Library School for 3 years. Our Power Library has mentored 3 Colorado schools and is the heart of Elk Creek.
  • Elk Creek maintains an active volunteer program. Volunteers provide support in all academic areas and include parents, grandparents, and community volunteers.
  • Our kindergarten curriculum is based on the Tools of the Mind program that teaches children self-regulation skills in a rich nurturing learning environment.

Elk Creek Elementary School provides a caring, learning environment that focuses on students through innovative and challenging curriculum. We prepare all students academically, emotionally, and physically for success. We welcome parent involvement and support the community in which we live. Our school has many traditions including Opening Day, Winterfest, and the Tree Sing.
