"Glennon Heights Elementary School is a small, neighborhood school that recently celebrated ""50 Years of Excellence!"" We have approximately 300 students with smaller than average class sizes. We have recently completed many improvements to our school including: a new reading, math and handwriting program; new computer lab, full-day kindergarten, increased staff on supervision and crosswalks, and several new extra-curricular programs (Math club, Literacy Club, Young Writers, Spanish Club, Track Club, Karate, Spelling Bee, Student Council and more). Last school year, our CSAP scores increased in 9 of 10 possible categories. We are consistently complimented on our ""welcoming environment."" We have a very active and supportive PTA and community in general. Glennon Heights is a safe, friendly place where our students and their success is our priority."
