| We are located in historic Edgewater, Colorado, just ten minutes from downtown Denver. Lumberg serves 530 students in grades K-6. Like other Jefferson County Schools, Lumberg primarily serves families from our surrounding neighborhoods, but we also have welcomed many students from other areas whose families have chosen our school because of our strong programs. In addition to content areas such as Mathematics, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science, we also offer an array of programs which include Art, Vocal Music, Band, Orchestra, Physical Education, Special Education Services, Title I, One-way Dual Language Learning, and Challenge services for Gifted students. We have Laptop computer labs on wheels for classroom use, a beautiful Media Center, and a brand new playground on the way. We also have a full-time community Liaison, who works with families and parent involvement. Lumberg also has many before and after school programs including intramurals, and the Lights on After School grant. Please come and visit us! |
