Slater is a data-driven school focusing on academic growth for all students through the use of strong systemic core instruction. Staff uses responsive teaching and research-based instructional techniques. Professional development is focused on Jeffco's Curriculum Alignment Project, working as a Professional Learning Community, and utilizing the Data Decision Making Model to best meet our students' needs. Slater utilizes all teacher resources including ESL, Title 1 Reading/Math, Special Education, and the Instructional Coach to meet our targets. Staff progress monitors student growth, sets measurable goals, and implements a strong core curriculum.
