- Our staff consistently integrates high quality reading, writing, and vocabulary instruction to improve all students' literacy development and content learning.
- Both boys & girls basketball teams qualified for the state tournament; girls swimming & diving had a league champion diver; wrestling had 3 individual state placers.
- AHS graduates earn an average of $1.2 million in scholarships each year. For the last two years an Arvada student was awarded the Boettcher Scholarship.

| Our mission is to engage, empower, elevate and prepare all students for post secondary options. In addition to honors, College Preparatory, and Advanced Placement classes, we have a school within a school; The North Area Option School. The rigorous college preparatory curriculum is delivered in a highly disciplined arena. Our accomplishments in athletics this season are on the rise. Both boys and girls basketball teams qualified for the state tournament. Our girls swimming and diving team had a league champion diver that went on to finish in the top ten in the state meet. Our wrestling team finished in the top ten at the state meets with three individual state placers. |
