Kindergarten
Jeffco Public Schools kindergarten programs provide developmentally appropriate education for 5 and 6 year olds.
All Jeffco neighborhood elementary schools offer full or half-day kindergarten programs. Some schools offering half day kindergarten, also offer before and after school child care.
Registration for 2010-2011 kindergarten will be held January 19 through February 26, 2010.
A lottery will be used to determine student placement in the different kindergarten programs that schools offer.
Some schools offer free full-day kindergarten, but other programs must charge tuition. The tuition for the 2010 school year will be $300.

Students must be five years old by Oct. 1 to enter kindergarten. Some highly gifted children may be granted early entrance to kindergarten. Check with the Early Childhood Education Office at 303-982-1737, for more details.
Registration for kindergarten begins in mid January for the following school year. Check with your local school for details.

- Proof of address
- Immunization Record
- Immunization Requirements - English
- Immunization Requirements - Spanish
During registration, these forms should be provided to the kindergarten where your student will be enrolled.
Some of our kindergartens charge tuition. Check with the school's principal for fee information.
