| Miller Special School offers educational programming for special needs students from preschool through age 21. Fine and gross motor therapy, speech and language intervention, augmentative communication, transitional instruction and work experience study may be provided based on student needs. A full time nurse is available to monitor health needs. Specific educational goals are tailored to meet the needs of each child who is medically challenged. Students may also attend Miller as a stepping stone into full time school placement or as a temporary rehabilitative setting following trauma or illness. Students enroll through the formal staffing process. |
