District Licensed Personnel Performance Evaluation Committee
The Jeffco Public Schools Performance Evaluation Committee (PEC), formerly the 1338 Committee, is a diverse group that provides a vision of what an “outside the box” educator evaluation system might look like.
Committee members:
- Serve two-year terms.
- Act as an advisory group to the Board of Education, through the superintendent.
- Measure the fairness, effectiveness, credibility and professional quality of the educator performance evaluation system, processes and procedures.
Committee Breakdown
The committee includes at least one of each of the following:
- Jeffco educator
- Jeffco administrator
- Jeffco principal
- Parent with a child attending school in Jeffco
- Jefferson County Education Association (JCEA) member
- Community member who does not have a child attending school in Jeffco
Performance Evaluation Committee Meetings
PEC meetings are every other month on the third Wednesday, from September to May. Meetings are held virtually from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
