District Licensed Personnel Performance Evaluation Committee
The Personnel Performance Evaluation Committee (PEC), formerly (1338), is a diverse group that provides recommendations to the Board of Education on the components of the evaluation system to promote fairness, effectiveness and uphold Jeffco’s professional growth of licensed faculty.
Committee members:
- Serve two-year terms.
- Act as an advisory group to the Board of Education, through the superintendent.
- Measure the fairness, effectiveness, credibility and professional quality of the educator performance evaluation system, processes and procedures.
Committee Breakdown
The committee includes at least one of each of the following:
- Jeffco educator
- Jeffco administrator
- Jeffco principal
- Parent with a child attending school in Jeffco
- Jefferson County Education Association (JCEA) member
- Community member who does not have a child attending school in Jeffco
Performance Evaluation Committee Meetings
PEC meetings are held quarterly beginning on the third week of school in August. Subsequent meetings will be the third week of the applicable month. Meetings are held virtually from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
