2025 Board of Education Election
On Tuesday, November 4, three individuals were elected to the Jeffco Public Schools Board of Education.
Board of Education Election Results:
- District 1: Denine Enchevarria
- District 2: Peter Gibbins
- District 5: Tina Moeinian
The final certified results will be posted by the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder’s Office during the week of November 24. The newly elected Board members will then be sworn in on Wednesday, December 3 and new officer positions will be elected. Once sworn in, the elected members will begin their four-year term.

What Does Serving on the Board Involve?
Serving on the Jeffco Board of Education is an important way to support our students and schools. The Colorado Association of School Boards (CASB) reports that Board members spend an average of 45 hours per month on Board work. This includes:
- Regular Board Meetings: Two per month, 2–5 hours each
- Board Committee Work: 1–4 per month, 1–3 hours each
- School & Community Engagement: School visits, constituent communications and events
- Leadership & Professional Development: Two annual retreats, a December convention and occasional trainings
