Review Of District-Level Policies

Superintendent Tracy Dorland, in partnership with the Office of Legal Services and applicable department leads, is continuously reviewing all District policies and regulations to ensure that the district has policies and procedures that reflect state and federal law and current Jeffco practices.

To receive meaningful feedback about proposed policy changes, the Superintendent will post a memo describing the proposed changes, proposed revisions, and any new proposed policies monthly.  If you have feedback about current proposed changes, email Legal Services.

The proposed changes will be public for 30 days, during which time the Superintendent welcomes feedback from the community.  After the review period, the proposed changes will be finalized and published in the District Policy Manual.

Board-Level Policy Recommendations

From time to time, the Superintendent  may recommend that the Board consider additional Board level policies. Board-level policies go through the process outlined in GP 14.
