When the Swanson Elementary community calls on their school, they answer! Their fifth- and sixth-graders participated in a PBL opportunity of a lifetime. They were tasked with using research, creativity, and design to create a flag that represents the Britton Park Community. Groups presented to community members during the semi-finals, and then to members of the Britton Park Community board during the finals. The chosen flag will be flown over Britton Park, in Arvada during special events. Thank you to the Britton Park Community and Custom Flag Design Company for all of your help. The Green flag is the winning flag, which depicts the Arvada area farm history.
