Jeffco Public Schools

Jeffco students may participate in dual enrollment programs with prior approval from the principal. Students and families are responsible for all costs associated with these courses.

Students have two options to access dual enrollment classes:

• Local colleges award credit to our students at a nominal cost that the student is responsible to pay. Students/Families must contact the high school directly to find out about Dual Enrollment offerings, or utilize the Postsecondary Opportunities searchable database.

  • Dual Enrollment courses offered at the high school will be provided with registration information, including the institution's application and registration process and payment information. 

  • Not all Dual Enrollment credits are transferable; students are encouraged to contact the postsecondary institutions in which they are interested in attending to find out if their credits will transfer. 

• With prior approval from the high school principal, a student can enroll at approved colleges and take courses. The student is responsible to pay all tuition costs and fees.
