  • Round 1 is closed. Round 2 is now open.

  • Who should use EnrollJeffco for Round 2? New students, preschool applicants, and if you are interested in applying for a school that is not your expected school (not your current school or if moving up, not your neighborhood school).

  • If you plan to return to your same school or move up to your next level neighborhood school, simply call or email your school and let them know.

  • Round 1 choice applicants will receive offers or waitlist positions on Feb. 27. You will have five days to accept an offer; only one offer may be accepted. Click here for more information (Spanish).

  • Round 2 applications are processed as they are received. Offers or waitlist positions will roll out in the order they have been received beginning early March.
  • If on a waitlist, you will remain on that waitlist through Round 2 and be sent an offer if space becomes available anytime during that window. If you accept a waitlist offer, any previously accepted offer is automatically void to allow other students the spot if needed.

Who should use EnrollJeffco?

All parents/guardians of new and current students for the 2019-20 school year should use EnrollJeffco Jan. 22-Feb. 8.

If you plan to return to the same school next year and did not use EnrollJeffco Jan. 22 - Feb. 8, simply call or email the school and confirm you are returning.

When do I use EnrollJeffco?

Anytime: the EnrollJeffco SchoolFinder tool if you are interested in learning about different schools. Browse through all 155 options in one place.

Jan. 22 - Feb. 8. Round 1: Use EnrollJeffco to enroll in your neighborhood school (K-12), indicate you are returning to the same school, or apply to a different school of your choice (preschool and choice). Here are the easy steps to using the new system:

1. Make sure your Jeffco Connect contact information is up to date for current students.  Contact your school if you do not remember your user name. New families will need to create a new account. A new student in a current family will simply be added to the family account.

2. Any time between Jan. 22 - Feb. 8, use EnrollJeffco Enroll Now button to indicate if your student is returning to the same school or plans to attend his/her assigned neighborhood school (K-12). If you are not applying for a choice enrollment, you are done!

3. For choice enrollment, you may apply to as many schools as you would like. All submissions for Round 1 are due midnight on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019. Remember, this is an application. Acceptance to a choice school or preschool is based on space available.  If there are more applicants than the school can hold, there is a lottery for those spaces. See below if you are applying after Feb. 8.

4. If you submit a preschool or choice application during Round 1 you will hear from all schools on Feb. 27. EnrollJeffco users that applied for schools (choice enrollment or preschool) will receive a notification indicating (a) an opportunity to accept an offer, or (b) information about waitlist placement, for each school application. You have five days to accept one of the offers received.  Once an offer is accepted, all other offers are rescinded.  You will remain on the waitlist of any schools who sent a waitlist notification.

Round 2 Choice Enrollment begins at noon on February 9. This enrollment period is for new students and students interested in applying for a school other than their current or expected (neighborhood) school and preschool. Round 2 applications are processed as they are received and notifications of offers or waitlist positions will be sent on a rolling basis beginning early March. Just click the "Apply Now" button. Make sure you have a Jeffco Connect account, username and password.

August: Students register for their selected school using JeffcoConnect. Updated contact information, fees, emergency contacts, and "opt-outs" are captured in August.

Current students wishing to change schools during the school year must use the administrative transfer process.
