Complete the Back-to-School Annual Update
All Jeffco families should complete the registration process for your student(s) before each school year. The Annual Update ensures that we have the most accurate information about your family and provides you with access to various services and opportunities.
Steps to complete the annual update:
-
Registration is open Thursday, August 1 - Friday, September 13
-
All returning families will register through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
-
In the main menu, click More > Online Registration to begin the update.
-
Read these helpful tips to help you complete the annual update. If you have problems after reviewing the helpful tips, contact your student’s school directly.
-
If you have a student new to Jeffco Public Schools and have not yet enrolled in a school, you will go to EnrollJeffco to add your student and enroll.
-
If you need help with your username or password, go to the Personal Account Manager to recover or reset your information.
Why is the annual update important for families to complete each year? The annual update allows you to:
- Provide Jeffco with up-to-date information about your family. It's important to keep your contact information and emergency contacts updated. This ensures we can reach you quickly in emergencies or to share important updates about weather delays, cancellations and events.
- Opt-Out Information: You can update your preferences for directory and yearbook information. Taking a few moments to opt out will help ensure your family's privacy.
- Review and sign the Student & Family Handbook and Technology Use Agreement. Please sign the Student & Family Handbook and Technology Use Agreement in Infinite Campus Parent Portal to maintain a safe and respectful learning environment. This will ensure your student follows guidelines and can access district devices and software. If this is not signed, your student may lose access.
- Pay required school fees that contribute to educational resources and activities that enrich your student’s learning experience.
- Set up your student’s school meal account or complete the Student Benefits Application.
- Enroll in transportation services
- Reminder: Under district policy JFBA, students who attend option schools (with the exception of district alternative programs), as well as those who choose a school other than their boundary school, are not eligible for transportation. Given the current workforce challenges that continue to contribute to bus driver shortages in Jeffco, Colorado and around the nation, the district is not in the position to consider granting temporary permissions for choice-enrolled students until September 9, 2024.
- The Transportation Department will prioritize restoring service to all transportation-eligible students on a route before considering providing service to students who are not eligible for transportation. If you would like your choice-enrolled student to be considered for transportation services after September 9, please contact your area transportation terminal.
