Friday, September 20 is a non-student contact day for all PK-12 students who attend a district-managed school. Charter school families, please refer to your school calendar.
Teachers use these planning days to collaborate on curriculum planning, review assessment data, adjust instruction to better meet student's needs and improve student outcomes.
Calling all performing artists! Have you considered pursuing music, theatre, or dance in college? Are you wondering how to nail the application and audition process, or even earn arts scholarships? Meet representatives from the top performing arts programs in Colorado and have all your questions answered.
Have you ever wondered what it is like to be a student with Dyslexia? Join us for a Dyslexia simulation on October 9 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Jeffco Ed Center to better understand the experience of students with Dyslexia. This session will provide insights into the challenges and strengths of Dyslexic learners.
Participants will work through five tasks that simulate what it is like to have dyslexia/dygraphia, as well as learn about dyslexia. It is recommended that participants be 11+ old and do not have dyslexia. Students that have dyslexia may attend and support the education of their loved ones. Child care is not provided.
