Jeffco Career Links

Jeffco Career Links is a one-stop resource for students, educators, industry partners, community leaders and families for work-based learning. Our goal is to link students from the classroom to careers.

Work-Based Learning Activities

Colorado’s work-based learning (WBL) continuum provides students with hands-on, real-world experience in pursuing their career pathways. WBL programs help students secure industry-relevant skills, certifications, credentials and higher levels of education and employment.

The continuum contains quality expectations that are organized in three categories of WBL activities:

Learning About Work Learning Through Work Learning at Work

Students can contact their school counselor or CTE teacher for more information.

There are over 15 school-based Career Hubs in Jeffco Public Schools in neighborhood high schools.

Career Hubs are physical locations in Jeffco high schools dedicated to increasing career awareness, exploration, and preparation by increasing how career pathway information and work-based learning opportunities are accessed by students.

Career Hub Coordinators are the primary point of contact for Work-Based Learning supports in the schools with Career Hubs and facilitate connections between educators, students, industry, and community professionals.
