Alternative Cooperative Education (ACE)

Alternative Cooperative Education (ACE) Career & Technical Education (CTE) is a multi-occupational pathway that facilitates individualized, developmentally appropriate programming necessary to support CTE students successfully.

Alternative Cooperative Education (ACE) provides students with the essential skills required to be successful in all career clusters. There is not one career track within this pathway.

• Students focus on identifying individual career goal and create a personalized career plan
• Students will focus on job seeking, job keeping, financial literacy and career development
• Industry collaboration, project based learning, and real world experiences drive ACE curriculum and instruction

Industry partnerships provide valuable insight for students to gain experience solving business problems with the guidance of mentorship. Work-Based Learning (WBL) courses offer students experiential opportunities to explore careers outside of the classroom including job shadowing and internships.
