What is Engineering?
Engineering is the application of science and mathematics to solve problems. Engineers figure out how things work and find practical uses for scientific discoveries. According to the US Bureau of Labor and Statistics employment of engineers is projected to grow 6% from 2020-2030. The areas with most projected job growth are sectors experiencing an increase in demand such as renewable energy, oil and gas extractions and robotics. The program’s courses engage students in compelling, real-world challenges that help them become better collaborators and thinkers.
