What is Natural Resources?
An education in environmental science and natural resources equips students with the knowledge and tools to tackle pressing global issues like climate change, pollution, habitat loss, and resource depletion. Students should be equipped with with the skills and knowledge needed to assess, manage, and mitigate environmental factors that affect human health, safety, and ecological well-being. They should be prepared to work as professional environmental health specialists, contributing to the protection of both individuals and the environment with a strong theoretical foundation and also practical skills that allow them to apply their knowledge to real-world situations.
