Theatre in Jeffco
Theatre teachers in Jeffco are dedicated to providing students with opportunities to realize their vision while developing durable skills, finding themselves and their place in this world, and creating experiences that last a lifetime.
The district is committed to providing students with a well-rounded education and opportunities to participate in experiential learning through theatre education.
Why is theatre important?
Researchers have found that sustained learning in theatre correlates to greater success in math and reading, and students from more challenging socioeconomic backgrounds see the greatest benefits.
Participation in theatre education enables students to embrace the full range of the human experience and develop myriad skills applicable to a variety of future opportunities.
