Multilingual Learner Online 6-12 Academy
Jeffco’s Multilingual Learner Online 6-12 Academy offers courses to middle and high school English language learners as an online option. Students may attend this academy when an English as a Second Language (ESL) English class or a content area class is not offered at their home school location.
Students log in from a classroom or other location in their home school and participate in virtual lessons taught by highly-qualified Jeffco teachers.
Course Offerings
Middle and high school ESL/English Language Arts classes are offered at two levels:
- Newcomer
- Beginning
High school-only courses include:
- United States History
- World Geography
- United States Government
- Economics
- Capstone for English Language Learners
- Earth Science/Biology (Offerings Rotate Every Other Year)
- Algebra I
